New Polling in House Battlegrounds and Ohio

Unpopular GOP House Members

Our friends at House Majority Forward released three polls we did for them recently in battleground Congressional districts and they speak to how likely it is that the House will flip back to Democratic control next year.

These are all Republican incumbents:

-In IA-1 Mariannette Miller-Meeks has a 26/51 favorability rating

-In IA-3 Zach Nunn has a 32/47 favorability rating

-In PA-8 Rob Bresnahan has a 35/35 favorability rating

If the House refuses to do anything to stand up to Trump, voters will definitely be looking for some balance of power next year and we already see it in the unpopularity of this selection of Republican Congress members.

Ohio

Here are a few interesting notes from a new poll we did for 314 Action in Ohio, where Trump won by over 11 points in November:

-Only 45% of voters approve of Elon Musk having a major role in government, 50% say he shouldn’t.

-RFK Jr has a -3 favorability rating with 41% of voters seeing him favorably and 44% unfavorably.

-A match up for Governor between Vivek Ramaswamy for the Republicans and Amy Acton who got near universal acclaim for her handling of COVID in the state on the Democratic side would start as a toss up with her up 45-44.

These are not numbers you would expect to be so bad so fast for Republicans and the Trump administration in a state he won so handily.
