Raleigh, N.C. – For the second month in a row, North Carolina Gov.Pat McCrory has a net-negative approval rating. And it’s the lowest it’s ever been: 39% of voters approve of the Republican’s job performance, while 51% disapprove.
The Republican-dominated General Assembly is doing even worse, with an approval rating of only 24%. Nearly half of voters have a higher opinion of the Moral Monday protestors than the N.C. legislature. Half of voters polled say the G.A. is causing North Carolina national embarrassment, including 21% of Republican voters.
