I don't think there's anyone outside the three obvious ones for Senate Republicans: Mead Treadwell, Dan Sullivan, Joe Miller.

Democrats for Governor: Byron Mallot and... uhhh...
Might want to include Bill Walker, too. Running as an independent, potential spoiler.

Could ask about the referendum opposing SB21, the governor's oil tax change. There's also a marijuana decriminalization referendum going up you could ask about.

- Senate 2014 -
Republican Primary: Joe Miller vs Daniel S. Sullivan vs Mead Treadwell.

General election: Sen. Begich vs Miller/Sullivan/Treadwell.

- Governor -
Democratic Primary: Byron Mallott vs Ethan Berkowitz vs Bill Wielechowski.

General election: Gov. Parnell vs Mallot/Berkowitz/Wielechowski

- Senate 2016 -
* Lisa Murkowski vs More Conservative Challenger
* Sen Muskowski vs Generic Democratic

Alexander Brown

Another question idea:

Opinions on the EPA report coming out against mining near Bristol Bay (aka Pebble mine).

With Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau all laying off teachers due to budget shortfalls, you could ask about the state raising the Base Student Allocation.

(Apparently I'm going to think of a new question every 30 minutes...)

'More conservative challenger against Don Young.

Dan Sullivan v. Lesil McGuire in GOP LG primary.

Do you want to allow the State of Alaska to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples?

Minimum wage $10

Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Sarah Palin?

Ask how many Alaskans have ever been to Canada or Russia...

Also, poll support for same sex marriage. It was surprisingly tight the last time you guys polled, I'm curious to see if support now outweighs opposition

1. Do you support or oppose building a road to connect Juneau to the Alaskan Highway?
2. Do you support or oppose moving the state capitol from Juneau to Anchorage?
3. What is your favorite reality show set in Alaska?

Bjørn Erik Opheim

I'd suggest adding Jon Huntsman and Brian Sandoval to the 2016 match-ups against Hillary; and since it's Alaska, definitely Lisa Murkowski as well, since she's proven to have tons of cross-over appeal, both on the campaign trail and in her actual Senate votes. Other than that, the usual suspects; Christie, Rand Paul, Huckabee, Jeb Bush, Rubio, Scott Walker, Paul Ryan, Cruz. Maybe Condoleezza Rice too? She'd probably be the most competitive of the bunch, alongside Huntsman. Here are two more possible Republican match-ups (both current Senators): Rob Portman (Ohio) and Susan Collins (Maine). Perhaps even include Cathy McMorris Rodgers, since she's gonna deliver the official GOP response to Obama's State of the Union Speech?

On the minimum wage you could have three different questions/approaches: 1) $10 2) $15 and 3) $20

You could ask about unemployment benefits as well. And whether the US is spending too much on military expenditures, as USA alone spends 39% of the world's entire military budgets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_expenditure#World.27s_top_15_military_budgets_2012).

Finally you could ask whether the richest 1% (and the biggest corporations) should pay more in taxes. Income inequality will be high on Obama's priority list for his SOTU speech today.

Alaska Senate:

Republican Primary:
John Jaramillo vs. Kathleen Tonn vs. Dan Sullivan vs Mead Treadwell vs Joe Miller.

General Election:
Dan Sullivan vs Mark Begich
Mead Treadwell vs Mark Begich
Joe Miller vs Mark Begich

Republican Primary:
Rand Paul vs Marco Rubio vs Scott Walker vs Chris Christie vs Ted Cruz vs Rick Santorum.

General Election:
Hillary Clinton vs Rand Paul
Hillary Clinton vs Marco Rubio
Clinton vs Walker
Clinton vs Christie
Clinton vs Cruz
Clinton vs Santorum

Stephen Morris

2014: Senate Primary, General
Something about the two Dan Sullivans (ones running for Senate, the other for Lieutenant Governor)
2016: Primary, General with Libertarian option included
Murkowski vs. More Conservative Challenger

Palin favorability, Murkowski, Parnell approval

A marijuana legalization question is all but certain to appear on Alaskan ballots in 2014. I would like to see a question about that.

Thanks for asking!

PPP POLLS BY YEAR: 2006-2017

We came to PPP after a public poll in the San Jose Mayoral race showed our opponent ahead by 8 points. They found our candidate (Sam Liccardo) ahead by 3 points and that allowed us to be able to push back with the press against the perception that our opponent was now a strong favorite in the race. Sam ended up winning by 2 points and is now the next Mayor of San Jose. PPP worked very fast and had a very accurate read on the electorate when we needed them
