In the final analysis, the voters of North Carolina voted for these people. What does this say about the voters?

Elizabeth Healey

Gov McCrory got elected because he campagned as a person that would bring Republicans & Democrats together and he had non-devisive ads. I was actually not that disappointed when he won, but now I am sick about it!! Gov McCrory is making our state a National Embarrassment to Democracy!! He lied about making new abortion restrictions, and about doing what the people wanted! And now with these clearly racial restrictions on voting, and restricting young voters, he is and will remain on the Wrong Side of History!!

Whom are you polling? And, why do liberal call everything with which they disagree, "controversial?"

Terry, click "Full Results Here" at the bottom, and read.

Alan, many voted for him based on what he said, most noteably not signing new abortion laws. He promptly back tracked on that and signed a law on abortion. He also stated he wanted to bring in the best teachers and retain the good ones NC has. So he cuts masters pay out , the only real incentive for teachers to stay because it is the only way to make a living teaching. Blaming voters is redirecting attention away from the problem. Terry, if your approvalmrating is in the 30 and 20 percent range, it isnt just "liberals" you are making unhappy.

These are good numbers that need to keep falling for us to have effective elections soon and in November, 2014!

I am a republican who is at the moment not pleased that I voted for McCrory. It is not wonder the State is going broke ad the food stamp program had to be cut back....with the humongous raises McCrory and Senator Tillman gave their crony staff...political payoffs. Shame on both o them. No raises for teachers and regular state workers. How could they give such raises.

PPP POLLS BY YEAR: 2006-2017

We came to PPP after a public poll in the San Jose Mayoral race showed our opponent ahead by 8 points. They found our candidate (Sam Liccardo) ahead by 3 points and that allowed us to be able to push back with the press against the perception that our opponent was now a strong favorite in the race. Sam ended up winning by 2 points and is now the next Mayor of San Jose. PPP worked very fast and had a very accurate read on the electorate when we needed them

PPP is best known for putting out highly accurate polling on key political races across the country, but we also do affordable private research for candidates and organizations.  Why pay tens of thousands of dollars for a survey when one of the most reliable companies in the nation can do it for less?"
