I am appalled you included George Zimmerman as a choice for President. What a tasteless insult to his victim's family.

Wait till the oil runs out. Then alaska will do a "red state" scenario. Vote republican but demand that washington "help".

George Zimmerman? Really?

I share Sad's views. Not only is it insulting to Trayvon's family, but to the Zimmerman family as well. He was rightly found innocent and just wants to try to get back to a normal life. Shame on you PPP, you're as heartless as the mainstream media.

Funny that your polling would include Zimmerman, the "white" Hispanic who not only has been a registered democrat his entire voting life, bit also a door to door volunteer during the 2008 & 2012 Obama presidential campaign.

It is reprehensible that you chose George Zimmerman as a candidate in the GOP Primary. Only diminishes your credibility as a polling source, just saying.

Did you also ask about George Zimmerman's chances running as a Democrat, since he actually belongs to that party?

Also, how is Ariel Castro polling as a potential Democrat nominee?

"And finally 12% of Alaskans say they can see Russia from their houses to 87% who can't."

Are you polling on how many Democrats know that Palin did NOT say that? I'm guessing it would even be lower than 12%.

So PPP polls based on Saturday Night Live skits now? (seeing Russia from their house) This explains lots.

George Zimmerman is a registered Democrat. He voted for Obama

Fred Johnson

George Zimmerman is actually a registered Democrat, but obviously this confirms the left leaning bias in the media and polling.

Why not include Hitler when asking about Democratic candidates?

Has PPP stopped pretending to be a serious polling outfit? George Zimmerman for President? Alaskans seeing Russia from their house? Is this The Onion or is this a serious polling firm interested in reporting the news?

PPP is a joke right? how could anybody take them serious with such ignorant polls?

Smart and Final

Oh, NOW the tea-party is embarrassed and ashamed to be associated with Zimmerman.

No Smart and Final, it's just false information like this that deliberately tries to smear GOP candidates that people are upset with. PPP must be testing out push poll methods. You must have the same altered sense of decency as the person who included his name in the poll if you don't find it tasteless and inappropriate at the very least.

PPP is best known for putting out highly accurate polling on key political races across the country, but we also do affordable private research for candidates and organizations.  Why pay tens of thousands of dollars for a survey when one of the most reliable companies in the nation can do it for less?"
