People are beginning to catch on -- that politicians who vote to give the shaft to immigrants can do so very easily to people like them.

desouza Herminio

We need that the repuplican support immigration reform!

Please suppport

If it wasnt for the mexican nobody would have nothing theyre the ones who build the houses and buildings we live and work in now u guys and girls are being unfair just cause yall dont like mexican how about smart idea send o u.s trops to go to war war with the zetas protect us from them theyre the bad people not no one else

Please People look at the big picture!!! The t/gop will not pass a immugraction bill! Why would they want to make 12 million more Americans that will vote against them become legal!! They are just pretenting and treating the American People like they are all DUMBES and FOOLS! WAKE !!!

Amos Jones

When you frame the question this way:
"There is bipartisan immigration reform Q4 legislation being debated in Washington. The bill would secure our borders, block employers from hiring undocumented immigrants, and
make sure that undocumented immigrants already in the U.S. with no criminal record register for legal status. If a long list of requirements is met over more than a decade, it provides eligibility for a path to citizenship. Would you support or oppose this proposal?"
Of course you are going to elicit a positive response. This is one of the most laughably one sided phrasing of a poll question that I have ever encountered. Were the folks at PPP able to register the responses while maintaining a straight face?

Dave Avery

" Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida argued this morning on "This Week" that a key provision of the bill, the so-called "pathway to citizenship" for undocumented immigrants, would not give anything away".

Sure it does Senator, it gives or sells our American citizenship to 11 million illegal aliens that broke our Immigration Laws to get here!

It's sad when some politicians and segments of our population want to degrade our American Citizenship to the point where it has no value or meaning.

"This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this."

-- Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy on the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986

"The agreement we just reached is the best possible chance we will have in
years to secure our borders, bring millions of people out of the shadows and
into the sunshine of America"
May 17, 2007

Member of the Democratic Party

PPP is best known for putting out highly accurate polling on key political races across the country, but we also do affordable private research for candidates and organizations.  Why pay tens of thousands of dollars for a survey when one of the most reliable companies in the nation can do it for less?"
