What a load of tripe.

America is under attack and we have elected many of the aggressors.

Perro

On Gun Control...Of course the federal govt needs MORE authority. They've shown themselves to be so trustworthy with the authority they already have.

Gary Baker

It's not about gun control, it's people control. Bad people don't play by the law. Want mine ?. Bring yours.

Danram

The Republican Party will continue to be the minority party in this country until they distance themselves from the far right-wing "gun nuts". I'm a lifelong registered Republican and the NRA makes me want to puke.

John Stuart Mill

Sample skew. AGAIN. Come on PPP....

Pastor Glenn Koons

I am amazed how NPR and the Left use ginned up polls to show just how America years for more of our Putin on the Potomac and how people are just dying to elect Dems to the House and Senate to make sure we get not only an end to the 2nd Amend., but the 1st, 4th, and 10th. Then of course Americans want more Obamacare and more illegals and more Syrian interventions and more scandals which of course are.... Bush's fault. You liberals are Quislings and a 5th Column against our American heritage, history and values. You have no shame.

Pastor Glenn Koons

In my last post, it says ....years...I of course meant ...yearns. Old age.

don baker

The liberal media always gushes "everyone wants gun control" yet the poll that counts is the ballot box and that is where the gun grabbers lose. Already in Colorado 2 antigun state senators are facing recall.

M

Could you start making polls on the state level with alos Biden vs GOP candidate?

Reggie Brian

Regarding the comment, "the NRA makes me want to puke" do you know that Obamacare has you covered for that? You will need a background check though, also known as "pre-existing conditions", to see if you have ever puked before about an organization full of law-abiding, dues-paying members who want to keep their Constitutionally-protected and God-given rights to defend their home and family from violent criminals. And the reason we pay dues to the NRA is so that they can afford to go to Washington to protect those rights, since our elected officials won't do anything without being paid - twice. Once in their paycheck and once from lobbyists. This does, of course, justify those in cities like Ohio and Penna. who vote twice, I'm sure.

congresswoman colbert

Yet the actual evidence that has taken place since the gun votes seem to directly contradict this. Since all of the gun control stuff was attempted at the federal level and implemented in a few states, here is what has happened:

In CT, a state House seat was won in a special election by a candidate who came out against all of the recent gun laws, and he said every house he visited mentioned how furious they were at the gun laws. The kicker? He is a Republican - and a GOP member has not represented that district in forty years.

In South Carolina, this website had the Dem candidate up almost double digits two weeks before the race - yet Sanford came out in opposition to toomey/manchin, while Colbert embraced it. The result? PPP was wrong by around 20 points from their two week out poll.

In CO, no members of the state senate/congress have ever had enough signatures gathered against them to force a recall election in the history of the state - but now the sitting leader of the Senate and another state senator both have had enough signatures certified by the state that there will be unprecedented recall elections. The culprit was the gun control laws that Bloomberg pushed through the state, and the people are furious enough to organize unprecedented recalls.

Also in CO, the gov and the US senator running for re-election in 2014 were thought by this site and all others to be easy re-election bets - yet now both have plummeted in the polls. The gov is in a tie with two different GOP potential opponents, and only around 40% of the citizens think the senator needs to be re-elected.

In NC, Hagan was long promoted as someone who would easily win her re-election bid. This very site claimed that her vote for the Schumer/Toomey gun bill was going to help her, yet her numbers have fallen despite no other major stances she has taken possibly affecting her numbers dropping as shown above. She is within four points of people who are mostly unknown in the state, and we are this far out?

In Arkansas, the sitting dem senator is running ads specifically bragging that the face of gun control in the US, mayor bloomberg, has been attacking him. If gun control really were popular, why would he be doing this?

In "rallies" across the country, there have been media reports of pro gun control people having three or four people show up for Obama's org, and the mayor bloomberg magical bus tour is afraid to release its schedule in advance for fear of being dwarfed by pro 2nd amendment protestors - which has happened anyway, but it would be far worse with more advance knowledge.

Either the polling is as wrong as it was in the SC special election, or it doesn't do a good job of measuring intensity and who will actually be a grass roots activist - which the polls also missed in 1994. This is going to be a very, very bad mid term election for the Dems just based upon this gun control attempt alone. Obama is now upside down on approval rating, and the latest poll shows his support among independents is in the low 30s - they would have had a tough time anyway, but listening to bloomberg and pushing this gun control stuff is just going to guarantee a disaster for them.

Hostile Elite vs Gullible Whites

History is repeating. After WWI, Hostile Jewish dominated Wiemar Republic disarmed German families, then unleashed hyperinflation, total destruction.

Patriotic, humble Nazis restored gun rights in 1933. But foolish Americans fought side by side with Stalin's genocidal commissars to destroy freedom.

this is not left vs right, GOP vs Dems, Socialism vs liberty. This is war against White people.

Why do hostile globalist elite defend Israel as a Jewish ethnostate with Jewish only immigration, but ravage White majority Europe/North America into a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural Gulag with non-White colonization?

The world is 93% non-White, only 7% White. But 3rd world colonizers, Muslims, Sikhs, Hispanics, are aggressively advancing their agenda to annihilate gullible Whites, just as China annihilates Tibet.

How long will gullible Whites cuckold for murderous anti-White elite, who confiscate our guns, infiltrate/subvert our banks/FBI/CIA, indoctrinate White kids in academia/mass media, plunder White jobs/wages, & butcher White soldiers in bankrupting wars?

"Native" Americans invaded from East Asia. Yellow & Brown races committed 10-times more genocide, slavery, imperialism than Whites. Since Old-Testament, Whites have been victims of Jewish/Crypto-Jewish, Turkic, Muslim, N.African imperialism, slavery, genocide.

Gullible Whites should reject subversive ideologies- libertarianism, feminism, liberalism- & reject hostile slanders of racism. Peace to all humanity, but White people must organize to advance their interests, their fertility, their homelands. Spread this message. PPP POLLS BY YEAR: 2006-2014

We came to PPP after a public poll in the San Jose Mayoral race showed our opponent ahead by 8 points. They found our candidate (Sam Liccardo) ahead by 3 points and that allowed us to be able to push back with the press against the perception that our opponent was now a strong favorite in the race. Sam ended up winning by 2 points and is now the next Mayor of San Jose. PPP worked very fast and had a very accurate read on the electorate when we needed them
