We're going to do a South Carolina poll over the weekend. There really is too much to cover everything important in one poll so there are 3 things we're going to focus on with this particular one and then I'm sure we'll do another early next year:
-Who people think should be appointed to the Senate vacancy
-Lindsey Graham's vulnerability in a primary
-Nikki Haley's standing both in a primary and a general election.
Senate general election match ups are just going to have to wait for now since that's so much content already.
So- who should we test on as potential appointees, what Republicans should we test against Graham, and what Democrats and Republicans should we test against Haley? Thanks as always for the suggestions.

Do you think Jim DeMint started the recession?

Colbert for Senate!

I know a Republican governor will never do it, but poll on how many think Steven Colbert should get the appointment...

For potential Senate appointees:
Tim Scott
Jeff Duncan
Tom Davis
Mick Mulvaney
Alan Wilson
David Wilkins
Also add an additional poll with Haley's name placed along these candidates, since it's possible she could appoint herself.

Ask about the 2016 GOP and Dem hopefuls. South Carolina is one of the early primaries.

Test Stephen Colbert both as potential appointee or in a primary/general election against Graham.

Here's a question I'd like to suggest polling South Carolina about.
Do you support a state law banning discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations based on their sexual orientation or gender identity?
Thank you.

Disregard my suggested question. I didn't realize this was limited to just those three subjects above. I'll wait for another time to suggest my question.

Include Stephen Colbert, maybe with both parties. Though if you're asking a serious question, just include him as a Democrat. He'd run as a Republican only as a gag.

Wil Haley consider Colbert for Senate if he 'somehow' gets enough public backing?

Do some 2016 polling for both parties.
