Tom Jensen addressed a lunch meeting of the Rocky Mount Kiwanis about what was happening with the election both in Nash County and across the state of North Carolina.

March 11, 2007:

PPP President Dean Debnam participated in a panel discussion at the North Carolina Editorial Writer's Roundtable sponsored by the Program on Public Life at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dean discussed PPP's use of IVR technology and the latest trends in public opinion in North Carolina. Also participating in the discussion were Hunter Bacot, Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Elon University Poll; Chris Hayes, Legislative Policy Analyst for the JWP Civitas Institute; Andrew J. Perrin, Assistant Professor of Sociology at UNC-Chapel Hill and editorial writers from newspapers across North Carolina.

October 29, 2007:
PPP Communications Director Justin Guillory visited with Mr. Felicelli's AP Government and Politics class at Broughton High School in Raleigh. Justin discussed the history and mechanics of polling and shared some recent results with the class. Discussion focused on the race for NC's 13th Congressional District between Brad Miller and Vernon Robinson, which the students were studying as part of an ongoing class project.
